What is the OUAC?

The Ontario Universities Application Center is a processing service for students to apply to Ontario universities. In facilitating the process of applying to first‑year undergraduate programs (bachelor’s degrees), it is used by prospective students who are interested in applying to university for the upcoming academic year.

Yes, National E- School (NES) can send your marks directly to OUAC, your home, and to your day school.

Which OUAC application do NES students fill out (101 vs 105) ?

At NES, as students are registered under the Ontario high school curriculum, the OUAC 101 application is to be completed.

Late August 2021

  • Circulates eINFO postcards and launches eINFO: www.ontariouniversitiesinfo.ca.
  • Starts distributing 101 application materials to Ontario high schools and school boards.

November 5, 2021

Deadline for the OUAC to receive all electronic student data files from Ontario high schools.

November 19, 2021

Deadline for Ontario high schools to report midterm grades for first-semester 4U/M courses to the OUAC.

January 13, 2022

Deadline for Ontario high school students to submit their completed application to the OUAC.

The initial application includes all final grades from completed Grade 11 and 12 courses and a list of all current-year courses in progress.

February 10, 2022

Deadline for the OUAC to receive all final grades available for 4U/M courses and current full-year grades for 4U/M courses from Ontario high schools.

April 28, 2022

Deadline for Ontario high schools to report midterm grades for second-semester courses and interim grades for full-year courses to the OUAC. Grades the OUAC receives earlier than the deadline will be sent to Ontario universities when received.

May 27, 2022

The latest date all high school applicants who submitted their application by the January application deadline can expect a response from an Ontario university. This includes: An offer of admission; a refusal; or a deferral, once additional information is received.

June 1, 2022

The earliest date an Ontario high school student may be required to respond to an Ontario university offer of admission and give a financial commitment (e.g., registration deposit, residence deposit, etc.).
All other admission-related elements, including scholarships, other forms of student assistance or financial incentives, and offers of residence are considered part of the offer of admission. Therefore, a student may accept these other offers before June 1, 2022, but Ontario universities will not compel a student in any way to make a decision earlier than this date.

Deadline for the OUAC to receive all final grades for 4U/M courses from Ontario high schools.

August 1 – 31, 2022

The OUAC collects summer school grades from Ontario high schools and boards.
