NES advocates for accessible learning that extends beyond the classroom. Our University Application Program aims to equip students with the skills to build character through the pursuit of career exploration and development.

Acceptance in 3 Steps

Our University Application services follow a three step process that caters to the typical stages of a student applying to university, from start to finish, namely planning, executing and tracking critical activities prior, during and after application submission.

Planning

  • Involves the educational/ research phase in gaining information and tools to learn more about the Canadian application system
  • Initial stages of finding student “fit” for identifying program/ faculty of interest

Execution

  • Building individualized application profile “Reach, Target, Safety model”
  • Setting academic goals to meet the grade range for programs of interest
  • Finalizing the initial OUAC application.

Tracking

  • Creating and setting up University accounts
  • Submission of Language Facility Requirements, Supplementary Applications
  • Option of add on programs in OUAC
  • Monitoring applicant’s admissions

University Application Workshops

Our trained facilitators hold information sessions called the Uni App Series that educate students on the stages of applying to Canadian universities.

Counselling

Students will have the opportunity to receive counselling across 3 streams:

Academic Counselling

Students meet with a guidance counsellor to discuss their academic schedule, learning plan and general inquiries about Ontario universities and admissions.

Alumni Mentorship Program

Students participating in the mentorship program will be paired with a NES graduate who has been admitted to the top university. Students will meet regularly with our successful NES alumni to hear about their university application process and future career development.

Personalized Learning Plans

For each student, NES creates and maintains an individualized record that examines their learning ability, creating a guided path for learning based on recommendations set by a committee of educators.

Application Profiles Tailored to You

NES is dedicated to understanding each student from a holistic perspective. Upon registration, each student creates a student profile in our database that stores their application process and their personal particulars and preferences, including:
